Not-So-Manic Monday
24.03.2008Yawn. It's a bank holiday Monday and the long weekend is almost over.
If, like me, you stayed home this weekend and devoured your entire body weight in chocolate then you may be feeling a) not too thrilled about the prospect of work tomorrow and b) depressed by your waistline doubling in size.
Solution to (a): It's only a four day week and only a month till the next three day weekend. Start planning it now.
Solution to (b): Throw the weighing scales away and join me in some fun ways to work off the chocolate. This week we'll be sending someone to try out a new exercise class involving balls and sticks and we'll also be giving you sneaks out how to dance your way to fitness.
But today, if you're not too sure about what to do with your time off, going out is probably not the best option. It is snowing after all. In March. Sigh.
Grab a book (The Other Boleyn Girl is a great read and very different from the film) or DVD like Rendition or American Gangster and chill out.
And if you've still got chocolate on the brain we've got some rather different ways to make healthy use out of it.
