Lord of Illusions
13.05.2008He's obviously cheating somehow, some of the stuff he comes out with is far too specific to be left to guesswork but this in no way diminishes the enjoyment of the show, it's still just as awe inspiring and dumbfounding.
I can't reveal much more about the show without spoiling it for you (and a polite note from Derren after the show requests that I don't tell you more than strictly necessary), but it's safe to say that you'll be astounded by everything he does and left wondering how on earth he did it. There's obviously some chicanery going on but the joy is trying to work out how he pulled it off. After each trick, you're left puzzled, amazed and will probably sit in your seat blinking for a few seconds thinking, “how the hell...?”
It's absolutely imperative that you see this show - just be aware that you might bruise your jaw when it hits the ground.

I saw his 'Something Wicked' tour few years back. Somehow managed to combine mind reading with hammering a huge nail up his nose, walking on broken glass and pulling a Usual Suspects type recap ending. He was ace.

yes, he's a clever chap, and a step ahead of other magicians out there. I wouldn't want to be friends with someone like him, would be unnerving.

I have seen the keys and wallet trick before. Power of this man's mind is crazy!
